We designed and built Abstract Rhythm ourselves with the help of numerous professionals and recording studio designers.One of our main objectives was to create a studio with the isolation needed to record an entire band live while maintaining a full control room in our modestly sized space.
The result is a design that is both intimate and functional, with three rooms that each have their own acoustical character.

STUDIO A
Studio A is great for drums! This entire room was built around our in-house Gretch Birch kit. Extensive treatment help to make loud instruments sound warm and tight!
Studio A also comes equipt with a 16 channel mixer/ PA with JBL Eon speakers as well as a variety of amps and keyboards for rehearsal. Natural light and red decor give this room a great vibe.
CONTROL ROOM
The control room is the heart of the studio, from its central location the large windows allow visual communication between the engineer and the two isolation rooms.
Our control room features a symmetrical trapezoid design as well as soft walls and ceiling that provide an acoustically neutral environment for mixing and monitoring.

STUDIO B
Studio B is our primary iso room for softer instruments like guitars or strings. Studio B is also a great vocal room. During larger/loud sessions it is a good place to take breaks.
The design features a unique asymmetrical shape and high 12" ceilings. It's double wall construction provides excellent isolation from outside noise. For the musician there is a PA / talkback system as well as a touchscreen display to monitor the recording process.
